What does the Situo 5 Soliris RTS Pure II do?
It is a 5-channel RTS handheld remote with sun control built in. Each channel runs one motorized product or one group, and a Soliris function activates a paired sun sensor for automatic adjustment. Somfy backs it with a 5-year warranty.
How does the sun function work?
When you activate sun mode from the remote, a paired Somfy RTS sun sensor adjusts your motorized products based on the sun's intensity to reduce heat gain. The remote on its own does not measure sunlight, so pair it with a sensor.
Which sun sensors pair with it?
Pair it with the Sunis WireFree RTS Sun Sensor 9020412, which needs a Situo Soliris transmitter to activate its sun function, or the Soliris RTS Sun and Wind Sensor 24V DC Kit 9012500, which includes the sensor and transformer.
What products can it control?
It works with all Somfy RTS motors and receivers. Somfy lists awnings, exterior solar screens, interior blinds, shades and draperies, pergolas and rolling shutters. The MY button saves a preferred position for each product.
What is its range, and what battery does it take?
Somfy rates the range at 65 ft in open field on 433.420 MHz. RTS is omni-directional, so you do not need to aim it. The remote runs on one CR2032 coin cell battery and carries an IP 20 rating.
How do I mount it?
Somfy includes a discreet wall holder in the box. The Situo II RTS Mounting Bracket 9028048 is listed as a compatible accessory if you want a different mounting option for the remote.
