ShadeMotorsDirect is an authorized Somfy distributor. We sell genuine Somfy motors, controls and replacement parts, and nothing else.
25 years in one specialty
We have spent 25 years in shade motorization. Not window coverings broadly, not smart home generally. Somfy motors, the hardware that drives them, and the parts that fail and need replacing.
That focus is the whole business. It is why the catalog runs to roughly 460 Somfy SKUs instead of a handful of bestsellers, why a discontinued crown or a specific 4-wire variant is usually in stock, and why the person answering the phone can tell you which drive fits a 2 in profiled tube without looking it up.
What we are trying to build
The goal is to be the number one source to shop for blind part replacements and upgrades, and to give homeowners a simple way to shop for them.
That second half matters. Motorization pricing and part numbers were built for the trade, and a homeowner with a dead shade motor usually hits a wall of databooks and dealer-only portals. Every description, catalog and customer deserves everything they need to make a shade move better.
In practice that means every product page carries the verified torque, speed, noise rating and tube requirement, and links Somfy's own spec sheet so you can check our figures against the manufacturer.
Who we supply
Shade installers, AV and automation integrators, shade fabricators, facilities teams and homeowners fixing one window.
On the commercial side we supply Somfy motors, controls and replacement parts to properties managed by Marriott International, MGM Resorts International, Hyatt and Hampton by Hilton.
What being an authorized distributor means
Every part we ship is genuine Somfy, bought through Somfy's own channel. That matters more in this category than most, because the grey market is full of superseded model codes and motors sold under names Somfy retired years ago. A 510S2 is a 10 Nm motor, and we will tell you so even when the listing you were comparing against says otherwise.
Every product we sell carries Somfy's 5-year warranty.
Shipping
We ship to all 50 states and to 27 countries. International orders are consolidated domestically and reshipped by us. Motorized drapery track ships within the United States only, because of its length.
Talk to someone who knows the parts
If you are not sure which motor, crown, drive or bracket you need, ask before you order. Sending back a motor that will not fit the tube costs everyone time.
