Somfy Simu Hz Mobile Transmitter, 5 channel, white (2008806)

It is a compact handheld remote that runs up to five motorized products, or five groups of products, from one unit. Somfy lists it for awnings and rolling shutters, and it works with Simu Hz and Somfy RTS motors.

Somfy rates part 2008806 at 656.2 ft in open field. Walls, floors and metal structures between the remote and the motor shorten that distance inside a building.

It runs on one CR2032 coin cell battery. CR2032 cells are a common size, so you can pick up a spare at most stores that sell watch and key fob batteries.

It pairs with Simu Hz radio motors, such as the Simu DMI5Hz 50Nm 12rpm 120V (2004675), and with Somfy RTS motors, such as the Altus RTS 550R2 (1038170). It transmits on 433.42 MHz, the RTS frequency.

Yes. The stop button also recalls a saved favorite position, so the awning or shutter moves to your preferred setting with one press. A magnetic wall holder comes with the remote to keep it in one place.

Somfy rates it IP 30, which suits indoor use. The magnetic wall holder lets you keep it beside the patio door or window it controls, so it stays dry and within reach.
