The Maestria RTS motor is Somfy's motor built specifically for exterior vertical zip screens, retractable insect screens, and hurricane screens. It automatically adjusts to keep the screen fabric properly tensioned and detects obstacles going up or down to protect both the fabric and outdoor furniture.

Can it run on a schedule or from an app?
Yes. The Telis 1 Chronis RTS timer (1805237) runs the screen on a set schedule. A TaHoma Switch hub (1871037) adds app and voice control for RTS motors. RTS is one-way radio, so the app sends commands but cannot report the screen's position.
What if my screen needs more torque?
Step up to the Maestria RTS 525A2 (1134083). It keeps the same 20 rpm speed, star head and zip screen features and raises torque to 25 Nm for larger or heavier screens. Both motors carry Somfy's 5-year warranty.
