It runs one Somfy RTS motorized product or one group on a single channel. Somfy lists awnings, exterior solar screens, interior blinds, draperies, shades, pergolas and rolling shutters among its uses, with a 5-year warranty.
Which motors does it work with?
It pairs with any Somfy RTS motor or receiver, such as the Sonesse 506S2 RTS 1001809, the Glydea Ultra 60 RTS drapery motor 1246118 or the Altus RTS 550R2 1038170. Somfy Zigbee motors pair with Ysia remotes such as the Ysia 1 1871153.
What is the MY button for?
MY is a Somfy feature that saves a favorite position, such as a shade lowered halfway. Press MY and the product moves to that stored position. The remote handles up, down and stop commands as well.
What is its range, and what battery does it take?
Somfy rates the range at 492.15 ft in open field on 433.420 MHz. RTS is omni-directional, so you do not need to aim the remote. It runs on one CR2032 battery.
Can I mount it on the wall?
Yes. Somfy includes a discreet wall holder with the remote. For a different mounting option, the Situo II RTS Mounting Bracket 9028048 is listed as a compatible accessory. The remote carries an IP 20 rating.
What if I need more channels or app control?
The Situo 5 Channel RTS Pure Remote 1870575 controls five products or groups from one handset. For phone and voice control of the same RTS motors, add a TaHoma Switch 1871037 hub.
