Part 1810643 is a single-channel Somfy RTS handheld remote. It runs one motorized product or one group, such as an awning, exterior solar screen, pergola, rolling shutter or interior shade.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. Somfy builds the Telis 1 RTS Patio to be water and shock resistant and rates it IP 44. Its operating range runs from 32 °F to 140 °F, and Somfy lists it for awnings, pergolas and other outdoor applications.
What range does it have?
Somfy rates the range at 164.05 ft in open field on 433.420 MHz. RTS radio does not need line of sight to the motor, though walls and metal structures shorten the working distance.
What battery does it use, and how big is it?
It takes one CR2430 3 V coin cell battery. The remote measures 5.71 in long, 1.93 in wide and 0.87 in thick, in a blue and white finish.
Which motors does it work with?
It pairs with any Somfy RTS motor or receiver, such as the 540R2 RTS CMO awning motor (1051477) or the Sonesse 506S2 RTS (1001809). Each of those motors stores up to 12 transmitters, so you can add it beside existing remotes.
What if I need to run several products on their own?
Choose the Telis 4 RTS Patio (1810645). Somfy lists it with five channels in the same water and shock resistant housing, and each channel runs one product or one group.
