Common questions
What does the Simu Hz 16 channel handheld transmitter (2007350) control?
It controls up to 16 individual motorized products or 16 groups from one remote. Somfy built it with Simu Hz radio technology for rolling shutters, so one handheld can run a whole facade of motorized products.
What kind of motors does it work with?
It pairs with Simu Hz radio motors and receivers, such as the Somfy DMI5Hz 50Nm 12rpm 120V motor (2004675). It also works with Somfy RTS motorized products.
What batteries does it take?
It runs on 2 LR3 (AAA) batteries. Standard AAA cells are easy to replace, so a fresh set keeps the remote ready for the shutters and other products it controls.
Does it come with a wall holder?
Yes. The transmitter ships with a wall holder, so you can keep it in a fixed spot near the door or window it controls and still pick it up when you want it in hand.
Does it have a favorite position button?
Yes. The transmitter includes a favorite position stop function in the style of the Somfy my button. It lets you recall a set position for a shutter with one press.
What rating and warranty does it carry?
Somfy lists the transmitter at IP 20, which suits indoor use, and backs it with a 5-year warranty. It comes in a white finish that fits most rooms, and the wall holder keeps it in view.
