Common questions
What is the Hz Transmitter 4 channel key chain 2008329?
It is a black 4-channel key chain transmitter with sequencing, built for industrial and commercial closures. Somfy lists it with embedded RTS radio technology and FCC approval, in a size that rides on a keyring.
What range does it have?
Somfy rates the range at 98.43 ft in open field. Walls and metal doors shorten that distance, so test it from where the operator will stand before relying on it.
Can it handle rain and dust?
Somfy rates the housing IP 54, which gives protection against dust and splashing water. That suits a key chain that travels in a pocket, a vehicle or an outdoor loading area.
Which motors can I pair it with?
The store lists it with Hz motors and receivers, including the DMI5Hz 50Nm 12rpm 120V (2004675) and the DMI6Hz 100Nm 14rpm 120V (2007156). Pair each channel with the product it should run.
What if I need a handheld with more channels?
The Simu Hz Transmitter 16 channel handheld in white (2007350) covers larger sites. For a single door or shade, the Simu Hz Mobile Transmitter 1 channel (2008805) is the compact choice. Somfy backs this key chain with a 5 year warranty.
