It powers up to 10 Somfy 24V DC motors from one 120V AC, 60Hz input. Somfy built it for radio or dry contact 24V DC motors, so one device supplies the motor group and lowers installation cost.
Which motors can it power?
Somfy lists the Sonesse 30 RTS, DCT, RS485 and Zigbee 24V DC motors and the Sonesse ULTRA 504A8 DC RTS. In this store those include parts 1241142, 1241146, 1241144, 1241970 and 1134023.
How are the motors protected?
Each motor output is fused to protect the motors. The kit arrives as an assembled unit in a UL listed enclosure, and plug-in connectors come included to speed up the install.
Where should I mount it?
Somfy rates the enclosure IP 20 with Class II insulation and an operating range of 41°F to 122°F. IP 20 is an indoor rating, so plan for a dry space such as a mechanical room or equipment closet.
