Common questions
What is the Smoove 1 RTS Pure II wall switch?
Part 1871361 is a single-channel Somfy RTS wall switch that mounts on the wall surface. It runs on a battery, so there is no wiring and no drywall to cut. It ships with a Pure white frame and carries a 5-year Somfy warranty.
How many shades can it control?
Its one channel controls one motorized window covering or one group of coverings. Program the same channel to several RTS motors to raise or lower a whole room with one press.
What battery does it use, and how long does it last?
It takes 1 CR2032 battery. Somfy rates battery life at 5 years at 4 orders per day. The switch measures 3.11 in by 3.11 in by 0.47 in and is rated IP 20 for indoor use.
What is the range?
Somfy rates the range at 164.05 ft in open field on 433.420 MHz. Walls and furniture shorten that indoors. If a motor sits beyond reach, the Somfy RTS Repeater (1810791) extends the signal.
Which motors does it work with?
It works with Somfy RTS motors and receivers. Examples in this store include the Sonesse 506S2 RTS (1001809) for roller shades and the Glydea Ultra 60 RTS (1246118) for draperies. It does not pair with Zigbee or wired-only motors.
What is the my button for?
The my button moves your window coverings to a saved favorite position with one press. Somfy offers seven decorative color frames for this switch, and the Smoove 4 RTS Pure II (1871381) gives you four channels in the same style.
