What shades does the Cord Lift WireFree CL32 RTS motor lift?
Part 1002422 is a battery-powered lift motor that Somfy recommends for cellular, pleated and Roman shades. It installs in the headrail in minutes, which suits hard-to-reach windows and rooms where running wire is a challenge.
What are its torque and speed ratings?
Somfy rates the CL32 at 0.34 Nm of torque and 72 rpm, with a noise level of 56 dB. It runs on 12V DC within a 9 V to 14 V range and draws a rated 1.7 A.
How do I power it?
The CL32 uses an external 12V DC battery. Somfy lists the Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack (9021217) and the Reloadable 12V DC Battery Wand (9018685), which holds AA lithium batteries, among its power options. Somfy lists solar panels as accessories as well.
Will it fit my shade's headrail?
Somfy offers shaft and headrail adaptors for several shade brands, including Comfortex, Turnils and Graber/Bali. For Graber/Bali EasyUp cord loop headrails, use the Somfy Headrail Adaptor (9013288), which Somfy makes for the CL32.
Which controls work with it?
Any Somfy RTS transmitter pairs with it, including Situo RTS remotes, Telis RTS remotes, DecoFlex RTS wall switches and the Telis 1 Chronis RTS timer (1805237). Somfy rates the CL32's radio range at 65.62 ft in open field, so keep controls within that distance.
Can I add app or voice control?
Yes. Somfy lists the TaHoma Switch as compatible with the CL32. The TaHoma Switch RTS and Zigbee Smart Hub (1871037) adds app control, schedules and voice commands for your cord lift shades.
