What is the Altus RTS 530R2 motor used for?
Part 1038169 is a 120V LT50 tubular motor with a built-in RTS radio receiver. Somfy rates it at 30 Nm and 14 rpm and lists it for awnings, exterior solar screens, rolling shutters, retractable insect screens, projection screens and interior window coverings.
What power and wiring does it need?
It runs on 120V/60Hz, within 108 V to 132 V, with a rated current of 1.5 A and 170 W in operation. The removable 9.84 ft, 3-wire SJTW cable has stripped ends. The radio replaces the control wiring, not the power feed.
Which remotes and wall switches work with it?
Any Somfy RTS transmitter pairs with it, including the Telis 1 Channel RTS Patio Remote (1810643), Situo RTS Pure remotes (1870571, 1870575) and the DecoFlex 5 Channel RTS Wall Switch (1810813). The motor stores up to 12 transmitters, and Somfy rates range at 656.2 ft in open field.

Yes. A Somfy TaHoma Switch (1871037) adds app control, schedules and voice control. On an awning, the Eolis 3D WireFree RTS Wind Sensor (1816081) sends a retract command over RTS when wind shakes the awning.
