Common questions

What does this Glydea ULTRA 60 Zigbee listing include?

This listing is the motor unit alone, sold without a track, for building or servicing a Somfy Glydea motorized drapery track. It moves draperies up to 132 lb (60 kg) and runs at 38 dB in silent mode.

What drapery styles and features does it support?

It drives pinch pleat, RippleFold and Accordia draperies. Soft start and soft stop keep movement smooth, and Touch Motion lets a gentle pull on the fabric start the motor. You can move the draperies by hand during a power outage.

How is it powered and controlled?

It runs on household AC power and draws 60 W. Control runs over Zigbee 3.0 with two-way communication, so commands and status pass between the motor and your Zigbee hub.

Can I control it from my phone or a voice assistant?

Yes. Somfy Glydea ULTRA Zigbee motors pair with the Somfy TaHoma switch (1871037), which links to Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings and other platforms. Installers set it up with the TaHoma pro app.

Which track parts work with it?

The compatible parts on this page include RippleFold carriers (1780903, 1780902, 1780901), the Glydea Drive Pulley (1780945), Heavy Duty Master Carrier (1781344), High Performance 10mm Belt (1782084) and One Touch Ceiling Bracket (1780907).

How are speed and end limits set?

The motor sets its end limits on its own, with fine adjustment available. Drive output is 1 Nm at 105 rpm with adjustable speed, and the Limit Setting Tool (9014599) on this page supports Glydea ULTRA motors.
