Somfy rates part 1045017 at 30 Nm of torque and 14 rpm. This LT50 wired motor drives exterior awnings and rolling shutters, and its Compact Manual Override (CMO) allows hand operation.
How does the manual override help during an outage?
When the power is out, a crank handle turns the motor through the CMO head so you can open or close the awning or shutter by hand. This page lists the CMO Awning Override Shaft with Geiger eye (9707287) for that setup.
What power does it need, and how is it wired?
It runs on 120V/60Hz, draws 1.5 A and uses 170 W while running. A 6.56 ft, 4-wire cable connects the motor to line power and a wired up/down switch or relay.

Somfy builds the same CMO motor in higher ratings. The 535A2 CMO (1047006) delivers 35 Nm at 20 rpm, and the 550R2 CMO (1051014) delivers 50 Nm at 14 rpm, both with a 4-wire cable.
