Common questions
What is the Smoove 4 RTS Pure II (1871381)?
It is a battery-powered RTS wall switch with four channels. Each channel runs one window covering or one group. It mounts on the wall surface, so there is no drywall to cut and no electrician to hire. The Pure frame comes in the box.
Which Somfy products can it control?
Any Somfy RTS motor or receiver. That covers interior shades, blinds and draperies as well as awnings, exterior screens, pergolas and rolling shutters. Examples include the Sonesse 506S2 RTS (1001809) and the Glydea Ultra 60 RTS Drapery Motor (1246118).
What battery does it use, and how long does it last?
It takes one CR2032 coin cell. Somfy rates the battery for 5 years at four commands per day, so the switch can live on the wall for years between changes.
What is its range?
Somfy rates the range at 164 ft in open field on 433.420 MHz. RTS radio needs no line of sight, but walls and floors shorten the distance indoors. The switch carries an IP 20 rating for indoor use.
What does the my button do?
The my button sends a covering to a favorite position you save, such as half open for glare control. Press it on any channel and the shade moves to that stored point.
Is there a version with fewer or more channels?
Yes. For one window or one group, the Smoove 1 RTS Pure II Wall Switch (1871361) uses the same frame style. For a larger home, the Telis 16 Channel RTS Pure Hand Held Remote (1811081) controls up to 16 channels.
