What does the DecoFlex SDN Keypad V2 do?
It is a hard-wired, in-wall keypad with 8 buttons for stand-alone Somfy Digital Network shading systems. It talks to the SDN motors on the bus, so no central controller is required.
How are the buttons programmed?
Each button can hold different commands for Press, Release and Hold. You configure the keypad with Set pro by Somfy software, and you can export and back up each keypad configuration.
What are the dry contact inputs for?
The keypad has eight dry contact inputs, whatever the button count. You program each input to output SDN commands, which lets a wired contact closure trigger shade moves.
Can a button save a favorite shade position?
Yes. A button press sets an intermediate position at the shade's current position, so the keypad can recall that stop later. Somfy lists the keypad for blinds, draperies and shades.
How is the keypad powered?
The keypad connects to the SDN bus, and Somfy lists a minimum voltage of 24 V. The SDN Data Hub V2 (1870951) can power up to 3 keypads from its ports. Somfy rates it IP 20.
