Somfy Pergola Tilt 24V 150mm Linear Motor -- the high-force louver drive for large bioclimatic pergolas
The Pergola Tilt 24V 150mm (1230032) is a 24V DC linear actuator that tilts the louvered roof of a bioclimatic pergola through a 150mm stroke. Somfy rates it at 2500 N (about 560 lbf) of nominal force, enough to drive long spans and heavy aluminum blades. It carries an IP 66 rating, draws 45 W, and its built-in encoder lets a Somfy pergola receiver run two motors in step.
Benefits
- 2500 N nominal force moves heavy, wide louver sets
- 150mm stroke for pergolas with a longer tilt linkage
- IP 66 aluminum body takes rain, sun and dust
- Built-in encoder keeps two motors on one roof in sync
- Removable 1.5 m cable makes replacement and service easier
- RTS remote, LED lighting and weather-sensor control through the Somfy Pergola RTS receiver
- Genuine Somfy part, backed by a 5-year warranty

Common questions
What does the Pergola Tilt 24V 150mm motor do?
Part 1230032 is a 24V DC linear actuator from Somfy's Pergola Tilt range. It pushes and pulls the louver linkage of a bioclimatic pergola through a 150mm stroke, tilting the blades open for sun and airflow or closed for shade and rain.
How strong is it?
Somfy rates it at 2500 N of nominal force, roughly 560 lbf. That suits wide spans and heavy aluminum louvers. It moves at about 3 mm per second under full load.
How do I control it?
The motor is wired and has no radio of its own. Connect it to the Somfy Pergola 12V/24V 2-motor RTS Receiver (1871434), or the kit with a remote antenna (1870488). Each receiver runs up to two motors and takes any Somfy RTS remote, such as the Situo 5 Channel RTS Pure (1870575).
What do the six wires do?
Somfy's spec sheet lists motor power on the blue and brown wires, encoder power on red (+) and black (-), and the encoder signal on yellow and green. The encoder reports position, so the control unit can keep two motors in step on one roof. The 1.5 m cable unplugs from the motor for service.
Can the pergola close on its own in rain or wind?
Yes, through the receiver. Somfy lists the Ondeis Rain Sensor 24V DC (9016344), the Ondeis WireFree RTS Rain & Sun Sensor (9019617) and the Eolis RTS 60 MPH Wind Sensor 24V DC Kit (1870709) as accessories for this motor.
How does the 150mm model differ from other Pergola Tilt versions?
Stroke and force. The 150mm model pushes 2500 N, while the 300mm model (1240262) trades force for reach at 1500 N. Match the stroke to your pergola's louver linkage, and when replacing a motor, order the same stroke and eyelet spacing as the one coming out. This one measures 290mm eyelet to eyelet when retracted.
