Common questions

What is the Irismo 45 WireFree RTS drapery motor?

Part 1002353 is Somfy's battery-powered drapery motor with a built-in RTS receiver. It runs on an included 25.9 V rechargeable Li-ion battery, so it needs no wiring, and it mounts above, left or right of the track to stay out of sight.

Which drapery styles and hardware does it work with?

Somfy designed the Irismo 45 WireFree for pinch pleat, RippleFold and Accordia draperies. It works with Somfy drapery track hardware, including the One Touch Ceiling Bracket (1780907), the Drive Pulley (1780945), RippleFold carriers and the Heavy Duty Master Carrier (1781344).

What are its torque, speed and noise ratings?

Somfy rates the Irismo 45 WireFree RTS at 0.8 Nm of torque and 87.5 rpm, with a noise level of 39 dB. It draws 45 W while running and 0.33 W on standby, and Somfy rates it IP 30 for interior use.

How do I charge or replace the battery?

Use the Somfy Battery Charger for Irismo 45 WireFree RTS (1003080) to recharge the 25.9 V Li-ion pack. When the pack reaches the end of its life, the Replacement 25.9V Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (9026476) swaps in.

Which controls work with it?

Any Somfy RTS transmitter pairs with it, including Situo and Telis RTS remotes and DecoFlex RTS wall switches. The motor stores 12 channels, and Somfy rates RTS range at 656.2 ft in open field. Add a TaHoma Switch hub (1871037) for app and voice control.

Can I open the drapery by hand?

Yes. Touch Motion lets a gentle pull on the fabric start the motor, and manual override lets you move the drapery by hand when you prefer. Both features come standard on the Irismo 45 WireFree RTS.
