Common questions
What is the Simu 2003358 slat hanger?
It is a steel spring fastener that attaches the top slat of a rolling shutter curtain to the axle. Somfy lists part 2003358 as the Slat Hanger L=190mm clip attachment, maxi size, for rolling shutter applications.
How long is this slat hanger?
Somfy specifies a 190mm length for the 2003358 hanger. Its factory designation, SPRING FASTENER LG190 SLAT14MM, also references 14mm slats, so compare it with your existing hangers and slat profile before ordering. Replace damaged hangers with the same length so the curtain hangs level.
What material is it made from?
Somfy lists steel as the material for slat hanger 2003358. The spring steel clip holds the curtain to the axle and flexes as the shutter rolls up and down. Somfy lists rolling shutters as the application for this hanger, sold in the maxi size.
Does Somfy warranty the slat hanger?
Yes. Somfy covers part 2003358 with a 5-year warranty. Somfy also notes longer lead times may apply, so order replacement hangers before you schedule the repair. ShadeMotorsDirect sells it as a genuine Somfy group part for rolling shutters, so it matches the original hardware.
