What is a DMI motor?
DMI is the Simu manual override version of the T5 and T6 operators, so you can crank the shutter if power fails. The 2005701 bracket holds these DMI motors inside the shutter box with an adjustable two-piece U.
What is the bracket made of?
Somfy lists steel as the material for the 2005701 bracket and describes it as an adjustable shutter plate for DMI. The two pieces let you set the position inside the box before you tighten the hardware.
What warranty and lead time apply?
Somfy covers the DMI bracket 2005701 with a 5-year warranty. Somfy notes longer lead times may apply, so order it with your DMI motor to keep the install on schedule. The bracket is steel and fits DMI5 and DMI6 motors.
