This genuine Somfy idler end pin carries the free end of a 1.5" RollEase roller tube, opposite the motor. The spring-loaded pin compresses so the assembled tube drops into a pair of SkyLine brackets without shimming, then holds tension to keep the shade square and rolling straight. The heavy duty version handles larger and wider shades where a standard idler would flex.
