Common questions
What is the RollEase 2" SkyLine bracket set?
It is a motor bracket and an idler bracket for a shade built on a 2" tube. Somfy describes part 9016325 as motor and idler brackets for a 2" tube, so both ends of the shade mount on matching RollEase SkyLine hardware.
Which Somfy motors does it fit?
Somfy lists 22 compatible motors, led by the Sonesse 40 range in RTS, WT, RS485, Zigbee, WireFree and PoE versions. Examples we carry include the Sonesse 40 RTS 406A2 RH with Fast Connector (1240381) and the 412R2 RH without Fast Connector (1024192).
What tube and drive parts go with it?
Somfy lists part 9016325 for a 2" tube. The Somfy 2" Profiled Roller Tube (1781798) and the LS40 2" Crown and Drive Set (9016352) complete the tube and drive side of the shade.
Does the head type of my motor matter?
Yes. Many motors on Somfy's list are RH (reverse head) versions. Check the head type on your motor against the compatible list before ordering, so the motor you install matches a listed model.
Can a Sonesse 40 WireFree motor use these brackets?
Yes. Somfy includes Sonesse 40 WireFree models in the compatible list. We carry the Sonesse 40 WireFree Zigbee Li-ion USB-C (1245993), which runs on rechargeable Li-ion power with no wiring to the window.
What warranty do the brackets carry?
Somfy backs part 9016325 with a 5-year warranty. It is a genuine Somfy part, so replacement brackets match the RollEase SkyLine hardware on an existing Sonesse 40 shade.
