Part 1241380 is a 24V DC linear actuator from Somfy's Pergola Tilt range. It pushes and pulls the louver linkage of a bioclimatic pergola through a 135mm stroke, so the slats tilt open for sun and airflow or close for shade and rain.
How do I control it?
The motor is wired and has no radio of its own. Connect it to the Somfy Pergola 12V/24V 2-motor RTS Receiver (1871434), or the kit with a remote antenna (1870488). Each receiver runs up to two motors and takes any Somfy RTS remote, such as the Situo 5 Channel RTS Pure (1870575).
What do the six wires do?
Somfy's spec sheet lists motor power on the blue and brown wires, encoder power on red (+) and black (-), and the encoder signal on yellow and green. The encoder reports position, which lets the control unit keep two motors in step on one pergola.
Can the pergola close on its own in rain or wind?
Yes, through the receiver. It accepts the Ondeis Rain Sensor 24V DC (9016344), the Ondeis WireFree RTS Rain & Sun Sensor (9019617), the Sunis WireFree RTS Sun Sensor (9020412), and an Eolis wind sensor with a trigger you set from 12 to 60 mph.

How does the 135mm model differ from other Pergola Tilt versions?
Stroke length. Somfy builds the Pergola Tilt 24V in 120, 135, 150 and 300mm strokes. Match the stroke to your pergola's louver linkage, and when replacing a motor, order the same stroke and bracket orientation as the one coming out.
