Do I need a crown as well?
Yes. A tubular install pairs the drive with a crown that supports the motor inside the tube. The Octagonal LT50 60MM Crown/Drive Set (9012233) supplies both parts, and the LT50 Octagonal 60MM Crown (9707025) is sold on its own.
How do I keep the drive from coming off the shaft?
Add the Drive Stop and Screw (9910004). Somfy designs it to screw into the motor output shaft and hold the drive in place, and it fits the same 50-series motors as this drive.
What if my tube is not 60mm octagonal?
Measure the tube and check its profile before ordering. For a 70mm octagonal tube, choose the LT50/60 Octagonal 70MM Drive (9761002). For a 60mm round tube, choose the 60mm Round LT50/60 Aluminum Drive Wheel (9012950).
