Common questions
What tube does this set fit?
It fits a 74mm (DS74) round tube. Somfy lists it as the DS 74 LT50 Set, the crown and drive connection between a 500 Series motor and that tube size.
What comes in the set?
The set pairs a crown and a drive wheel, Somfy parts 9707037 and 9751009. The crown keeps the motor centered in the tube, and the drive wheel turns it. We carry the DS74mm Crown (9707037) on its own for replacements.
Which motors does it fit?
Somfy lists 61 compatible motors across the Sonesse 50, Altus RTS, Oximo RTS, Orea RTS, Sunea RTS CMO and Maestria RTS ranges, plus standard SJTW and CMO motors. Examples here include the Sonesse 506S2 RTS (1001809) and the 540R2 CMO 120V 4-Wire Motor (1049026).
What if my tube is a different size?
Choose the set that matches your tube. For other 500 Series tubes, we carry the LT50 DS78MM Crown/Drive Set (9012239) and the Octagonal LT50 60MM (9012233) and 70mm (9012234) Crown and Drive Sets.
What warranty applies to this set?
Somfy covers the 9012238 set with its 5-year warranty. As a genuine Somfy set, it matches the output of the listed motors, so the tube turns true without slip.
