Common questions
What do I get with this listing?
You get a 6 ft (72 in) section of Somfy Glydea motorized drapery track, cut to the finished width you order. The motor and the mounting brackets are sold as their own items.
How many brackets does the 6 ft track need?
This 6 ft track calls for 4 brackets, sold as their own items. Mount it to the ceiling with Glydea ceiling brackets such as the One Touch Ceiling Bracket (1780907), or to the wall with a Glydea wall-mount bracket kit that covers up to 10 brackets.
Which motors drive this track?
The track pairs with the Glydea 35, Glydea 60e and Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee drapery motors. Options we carry include the Glydea Ultra 60 RTS Drapery Motor (1246118) and the Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee Drapery Motor (1246594).
Which drapery styles does it support?
It works with pinch pleat draperies and with RippleFold draperies at 60, 80, 100 or 120% fullness. For RippleFold, choose carriers that match your fullness, such as the RippleFold 100% carriers (1780902).
How is the track controlled?
Control comes from the motor you pair with it. The Glydea system supports RTS, RS485, Zigbee, dry contact and infrared control, so you can match the control type to the project.
How long can a Glydea track run?
The motor sets the limit. The Glydea 35 handles up to 32 ft and 77 lb, the Glydea 60e up to 36 ft and 132 lb, and the Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee up to 36 ft and 110 lb. A 6 ft track sits within all three.
