Common questions
What is the DS74mm crown?
Part 9707037 is the Somfy LT50 crown for Dohner 74mm (DS74) round tube. It seats at the motor head end and turns with the tube. Somfy sells it on its own and inside the DS 74 LT50 Set (9012238).
What tube size and profile does it fit?
It fits 74mm round tube in the Dohner DS74 profile. For DS78 tube, choose the LT50 DS78MM Crown/Drive Set (9012239), and for 60mm octagonal tube, choose the LT50 Octagonal 60mm Crown (9707025).
Which Somfy motors does it work with?
Somfy lists the DS 74 LT50 Set, which contains this crown, for LT50 motors including Sonesse 506S2 and 510S2, Altus RTS, Oximo RTS, Maestria RTS, Sunea RTS CMO and Orea RTS models.
What else do I need with the crown?
You need a matching DS74 drive wheel at the motor output end. Somfy pairs this crown with a DS74 drive in the DS 74 LT50 Set (9012238), which gets you both parts in one order.
When should I buy the crown on its own?
Order the single crown when your DS74 install already has a working drive and you need to replace or add a crown. For a new motor install, the DS 74 LT50 Set (9012238) includes both the crown and the drive.
