It is a battery-powered DecoFlex wall keypad with two channels for Somfy Zigbee window coverings. Each channel runs one product or one group, and the my button sends them to a saved favorite position. It installs without running new wire.
Does it need a hub?
Somfy lists it as compatible with the TaHoma switch. Pair it with the TaHoma Switch RTS and Zigbee Smart Hub (1871037), or the TaHoma Switch with Ethernet Adaptor (1871038), to add app control, scenes and voice assistants to your Zigbee shades.
Which products can it control?
It operates Somfy Zigbee window coverings and Smart Plugs. Examples include the Sonesse 40 406A2 Zigbee 3.0 Motor (1245921), the Glydea Ultra 35 Zigbee Drapery Motor (1241840) and the Zigbee Smart Plug Adaptor (1871217).
What batteries does it use?
It runs on two LR3 (AAA) batteries, so there is no line-voltage wiring and no electrician to hire. The keypad talks to your Zigbee devices on 2.450 GHz.
Where can I install it?
This version mounts in the wall and carries an IP 20 rating for indoor use. Its white Decora-style face sits beside standard light switches. If you prefer not to cut the wall, choose the 2 Channel Surface Mount model (1871577). Both carry a 5-year warranty.
Is there a version with more channels?
Yes. The DecoFlex WireFree Zigbee 4-Channel keypad comes in a wall mount (1871572) and a surface mount (1871576). For handheld control, the Ysia 5 Channel Zigbee Remote (1871154) runs up to five products or groups.
