Common questions
What does the DecoFlex RTS Table Top Accessory do?
Part 1811185 turns a DecoFlex WireFree RTS wall switch into a table top control. Set it on a coffee table, kitchen island, desk or nightstand and run your Somfy RTS shades from where you sit.
Does it include a switch?
No. This white accessory holds a DecoFlex WireFree RTS switch that you order on its own. Somfy lists it for the 1 to 5 channel versions, so pick the channel count that matches the shades in the room.
Which switches in this store fit it?
White DecoFlex WireFree RTS switches suit it, including the 1 Channel (1810897), 2 Channel (1811068), 3 Channel (1811071) and 5 Channel (1810813). Ivory versions such as the 5 Channel (1810814) fit it too.
Which motors will the switch control from the table?
The switch sends Radio Technology Somfy commands, so it runs any Somfy RTS motor or receiver it is paired with. Somfy lists the accessory as compatible with all RTS powered systems, from shades and draperies to awnings.
Does it need wiring or an outlet?
No. Somfy notes it installs in a few minutes. The DecoFlex switch runs on its own coin cell battery, so the table top control needs no wiring or outlet.
What other colors are there?
This part is white and carries a 5 year Somfy warranty. A black version (1811051) matches the black DecoFlex switches, such as the 5 Channel (1810830) and the 1 Channel (1810899).
