Common questions
What does this crown do?
The crown slides onto the head end of a Somfy LT50 class motor and centers the motor inside the tube. Somfy describes part 9707034 as an LT50 crown for Dohner 70 tube.
Which tube does it fit?
Somfy makes this crown for Dohner 70mm tube, a size used in rolling shutter work. Confirm your tube profile before ordering, since other 70mm tubes, such as octagonal ones, take their own crowns.
Which motors does it work with?
Somfy lists it for its LT50 and Sonesse 50 range, including the Sonesse 506S2 RTS (1001809), Altus RTS 525A2 (1043423), Maestria 510A2 RTS (1134082) and the 535A2 CMO 4-wire motor (1047006).
What else do I need with it?
Pair the crown with a drive for the same tube, such as the DS 70mm Round Drive (9751005), which Somfy also sizes for Dohner 70 tube. The drive fits the motor's output end and turns the tube.
What warranty does it carry?
Somfy backs the DS 70 LT50 Crown (9707034) with a 5 year warranty. Somfy makes it in black to match the DS 70mm Round Drive.
