TaHoma switch puts RTS and Zigbee shades on one app with scenes, schedules and voice control. Learn what it runs, what to prepare before you plug it in, the setup steps in the app, and what to do after.

Two radios, one hub
Somfy lists TaHoma switch for up to 40 RTS channels and up to 60 Zigbee products. Up to 10 switches can join for RTS multi-zone control.

Finish the RTS motors first
Somfy asks for RTS motor setup to be complete before you install TaHoma: remotes paired, limits set and the MY position stored.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
The hub needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network secured with a password. Keep your phone within 2 m (about 6.5 ft) of the hub during Bluetooth setup.
Watch forA router broadcasting only 5 GHz will not work. Turn on the 2.4 GHz band first.

Zigbee order matters
For Zigbee, Somfy says to have the motor and Ysia QR codes ready and to pair plugs and wired Zigbee motors first.

Six steps
Install the TaHoma app and tap Start. Plug in the hub; the LED lights blue. Accept Bluetooth, choose Wi-Fi, enter the password, create an account and finish the profile.

Wired internet option
The TaHoma Ethernet Adaptor 9028054 adds a wired 10/100 Mbps port. Somfy also sells the hub with the adaptor as 1871038.
ExampleA hub in a basement far from the router runs better on the adaptor than on weak Wi-Fi.

The Ysia 1 Zigbee remote adds a handheld for Zigbee shades in the same system.
