The RTS Receiver for animeo IP lets Somfy RTS transmitters -- Situo, DecoFlex, or Telis -- control groups, facades, or single motors within an animeo IP building-management system, with a single SDN connection for both power and data. Somfy has since released a V2 of this receiver (ref. 1871498), which is the current part for new installations.

What does the RTS Receiver for animeo IP do?
It lets Somfy RTS wall switches and handheld remotes send commands into an animeo IP building system. Motors on the SDN network can run one at a time, by group, by facade or across an entire building from those transmitters.
Which transmitters pair with it, and how many?
Somfy lists DecoFlex and Telis RTS transmitters for part 1822447. The receiver stores up to 5 paired transmitters, and pairing takes a short series of presses on its programming button.
How is the receiver powered?
It runs on 24V DC from the SDN bus and draws 10 mA. Somfy calls for a bus and sensor station power supply to feed it, and the wire run to the SDN bus should not exceed 200 ft.
What is the wireless range?
Somfy rates the range at a 65 ft radius under optimal conditions, on 433.42 MHz. Mount the receiver so the DecoFlex switches and Telis remotes that control it sit inside that radius.
How big is it, and how does it mount?
The receiver measures 3.88 in long, 2.08 in wide and 1.5 in high, in an ABS housing. Somfy includes a mounting bracket in the box. Place it where the wire run back to the SDN bus stays at 200 ft or less.
